THERE IS NO OFF-SEASON
ISSUE #46

Football truly is such a unique and exciting sport, and we saw the extremes on Sunday. On the AFC side, weather and defense dominated the game, with both teams hoping to make one fewer mistake than the other. Ultimately, the Patriots capitalized on Jarrett Stidham’s blunder and earned another trip to the Super Bowl. In the NFC, the Seahawks and Rams did not disappoint, trading blows all game in a high-scoring affair. Seattle’s top-tier defense struggled against LA’s high-powered offense, but they made the critical fourth-down stop to secure the victory. It’s a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, which was a classic game in itself, featuring the miracle Malcolm Butler interception to earn Tom Brady his fourth Super Bowl title, restarting the Patriots dynasty. Drake Maye vs. Sam Darnold was an unlikely Super Bowl Quarterback matchup, but both have played very well this year and have earned the opportunity to raise the Lombardi.
So begins the longest two weeks in the NFL season, with anticipation building by the day until we finally get to the Big Game in Santa Clara. In the meantime, the brightest stars in the NFL (including Shedeur Sanders) will lace up the cleats for a few exhibition drills and flag football games in this weekend’s Pro Bowl. The festivities have become more of a punch line than a true all star game, but it can be a fun watch. The players are out there enjoying themselves, and the fans get a chance to see their favorite players in a more relaxed environment. Honestly, as long as no one gets hurt, I support the festivities for what they are.
The Coaching Carousel continues to spin, with Joe Brady getting the sought-after(?) Bills job this week. It’s a bit of a vanilla move for this team, but in theory, they didn’t need a seismic shift at the head coaching position. The players like the system, it’s been successful, but it just hasn’t gotten them over the hump yet. It’s truly going to come down to personnel, and who Brandon Beane can bring in to help Josh Allen this off-season. Kevin Stefanski will hope to have more luck at quarterback in Atlanta, the Raven's’ Todd Monken stays in division as the new Head Coach of the Browns, while the Titans and Steelers brought in retreads for their jobs as well, Robert Saleh and Mike McCarthy. As of this writing, two jobs remain available in Arizona and Las Vegas.
While the NFL has all eyes focused on Santa Clara, the dynasty community is aflutter with the activities in Mobile, Alabama this week. The Senior Bowl is the premier college all-star game, and it’s one of the last opportunities for college prospects to prove what they can do on the field, in full pads, in front of NFL scouts. There are always sleepers that emerge from the week of practices, but the big names participating this week are Nick Singleton (RB, Penn State), Garrett Nussmeier (QB, LSU), and Ja’Kobi Lane (WR, USC). Stay tuned to Dynasty League Football for recaps on the practices and game in Mobile, along with this week’s East-West Shrine Bowl.

The 2025 NFL Draft class was lauded as being a talented and deep class at the running back position. One of the key contributors to that narrative was RJ Harvey out of UCF. The Broncos picked him with the 60th overall pick in last spring’s draft, much higher than most draftniks thought he would go. He started the process as a sleeper pick, but after Sean Payton made that pick, Harvey became a fringe first-round pick in rookie drafts. Now that his season is complete, let’s analyze his ADP and his value going into his sophomore season as a pro.

RJ Harvey’s Dynasty ADP History, per DLF.
After the Broncos made the pick, Harvey’s value jumped 70 picks, and he’s flirted with the top 50 all season long. In January ADP, Harvey was the 49th player overall, going off the board as RB16. That’s just behind Chase Brown and Kyren Williams, and edges out Kenneth Walker and Cam Skattebo. The DLF Consensus Rankings have Harvey in about the same spot, 53rd overall and RB17.
Harvey’s season didn’t do much to hurt his dynasty value, but it certainly didn’t help it either. He was the RB20 this season in total points, and the RB24 in points per game (12.2). His season took a turn for the better once JK Dobbins hit the IR. From week 11 on, he was the RB13 in PPR points per game, averaging 15.2 points per game. He especially excelled in the passing game and finding the end zone. He was seventh in the league in running back targets (68) and receptions (56) and he was eighth amongst running backs in receiving yards (424). His 12 total touchdowns were the 12th most in the league and the 10th most amongst running backs. He struggled as a runner, earning a score of 69.6 for PFF as a runner (42nd out of 49 backs with at least 100 carries). He had plenty of opportunity to step his game up with Dobbins injured, but he managed to average just 3.6 yards per carry. He’ll never be this team’s bell cow back. Even if Dobbins walks in free agency this off-season, the Broncos will absolutely need to bring in another back to complement Harvey. He is a passing game specialist who should be limited to 10 or fewer rushes per game. With all of that said, I’m entering the off-season, trying to offload Harvey. He has upside because of his passing game production and his nose for the end zone, but he just doesn’t do enough as a runner to ever have a high-end RB2 ceiling.

JANUARY SUPERFLEX STARTUP ADP
Welcome to Monday Mocks, where I’ll bring you…you guessed it, a new mock draft every Monday during the off-season. In my opinion, drafting is the best part of fantasy football, so I do as much of that as I can. This series will be filled with all types of mocks. We’ll draft startups, rookies, devys, and more.
Our January dynasty ADP mock drafts are wrapping up, and that brand-new data will be posted here on the site very soon. Until then, I wanted to share a sneak peek at how the top players in the game are being valued in superflex dynasty leagues.
This is our final month of dynasty ADP before the class of 2026 rookies are added next month. This will obviously lead to many changes with most players seemingly losing value as they fall down the ADP ranks and others dropping off the list altogether. Until then, here are the top-60 players from our latest superflex dynasty ADP.
ROUND ONE:
1.01 Josh Allen, QB BUF
1.02 Drake Maye, QB NE
1.03 Lamar Jackson, QB BAL
1.04 Jayden Daniels, QB WAS
